Haeckels foundation lies in showcasing the natural health-giving properties of the sea whilst raising awareness about the fragility and value of oceans not only across the globe but in their local hometown of Margate, UK. Founded in 2012 by Dom Bridges, Haeckels strives for transparency and honestly in everything they do.

The skincare range is made from all-natural ingredients sourced by hand, under license from the Margate coastline.  All formulas are lab tested, carrying out full assessments and stability tests alongside real-world trials by members of staff, comparing and re-examining until the perfect solution is discovered sometimes taking years to perfect.

Showcasing that natural products are every bit as effective as chemical-derived alternatives, seaweed is the hero ingredient being rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids; it’s anti-bacterial, skin rebuilding and anti-inflammatory. The entire range of skincare is multifaceted and works to promote healthy skin whilst not disturbing the skins’ natural tonal balance.

The ocean and living in harmony with their environment is at the heart of everything Haeckels creates. Currently they operate a Rubbish For Product scheme that promotes customers across the globe to clean and clear coastlines of litter as well as implementing 100% compostable packaging across certain skincare products.
