Marie Du Petit Thouars created MAISON LOUIS MARIE inspired by a rich botanical family history. This began with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars who in the French revolution was exiled to Madagascar. It was here he collected over 2000 plant specimens that he brought back to France.
200 years later, collaborating with her husband Matthew Berkson, Marie has created unique memorable scents that are committed to clean beauty that is made in harmony with the environment, containing no toxic or environmentally harmful ingredients.
